Friends, I don’t gamble or bet on anything all that much. In my younger days, I did, but now that I am in my mid-40s I like to spend my money on other things.<\/p>\n
It was more of one of those evening-out things for me instead of some of the people that actually have to call that toll-free number about gambling being a problem.<\/p>\n
When my wife and I first got married, there was a restaurant that we would go to that was less than five minutes from a casino.<\/p>\n
So we would go in and each put down twenty bucks on whatever game we were playing and that would be the end of it.<\/p>\n
One time though we hit it relatively big. I was ready to cash out on a video blackjack machine when my wife told me to hit bet all. So I did, and was a little more than nervous about the prospect of losing everything we had won.<\/p>\n
Imagine my relief when I got a blackjack and the dealer busted.<\/p>\n
You have never seen someone cash out of a machine so fast in your life. Now, that was just one random evening after dinner and was a relatively small amount of money that spawned from a twenty dollar bet.<\/p>\n
I can’t imagine if I put down five dollars on a bet and my life totally changed after.<\/p>\n
For example, the Venetian casino in Las Vegas made an announcement recently that one gambler at their casino turned a five-dollar bet into two million dollars plus during a game of Pai Gow.<\/p>\n
