In an update to the breaking<\/a> story about a terrorist attack on a police post in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula on September 6, the suspect is in custody. Police have disclosed a lot more detail to go with their latest report.<\/p>\n

Wounded terrorist in custody<\/h2>\n

At around 3:15 a.m. Wednesday morning, September 6, the suspected domestic terrorist driving “a silver-colored Honda CRV entered the driveway of the Sault Ste. Marie Post.<\/em>” He casually<\/a> parked and exited the vehicle “wearing camouflage.<\/em>”<\/p>\n

Just as casually, he “doused several patrol vehicles with gasoline and set them on fire.<\/em>” Then, he went back to the car for his rifle. As the cop cars blazed, he used them for target practice, firing “multiple rounds into and around the patrol vehicles.<\/em>”<\/p>\n

The post’s police cruisers weren’t moving anywhere without a tow truck but that didn’t prevent authorities from carrying out a full investigation. They also had a whole bunch of help from the alert rural community. “Multiple tips<\/em>” led to the suspect’s location.<\/p>\n
