You get 40-50 years in prison for that and the judge calls it &#8220;<em>sadistic.<\/em>&#8221; Taking a break from your torture session to rape a woman, for no real reason other than all the coke you&#8217;re on, is good for another 30-40 behind bars. For Tanner Danielson, those are going to be served consecutively. Assuming he behaves, and survives, the 31-year-old gets out when he&#8217;s about 121.<\/p>\n<h2>The thief survived<\/h2>\n<p>Tanner Danielson made the <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/09\/08\/welder-tortured-man-with-blowtorch-raped-woman-over-stolen-pot\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">mistake<\/a> of allowing the suspected thief he tortured to survive. He left his unidentified victim &#8220;<em>in the countryside tied to a tree.<\/em>&#8221; According to police, &#8220;<em>The man only escaped after he miraculously managed to free himself from the tree and ran to the road to flag down help while still handcuffed.<\/em>&#8221; He led the cops straight to his torturer.<\/p>\n<p>Once behind bars, the cartel will be looking out for Danielson because they&#8217;re sure to notice how sadistically thorough he was in protecting their shared interests in the drug trade.<\/p>\n<p>Danielson happened to be a welder by trade, when he wasn&#8217;t dealing pot. He just got sentenced to &#8220;<em>to up to 90 years in prison after he tortured a man with a blowtorch and hung him on a forklift, and raped a woman, over stolen cartel drugs.<\/em>&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Good riddance! The &#8220;<em>heinous<\/em>&#8221; attacks including rape of an unidentified woman, happened in July of 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Danielson &#8220;<em>abducted the 26-year-old man after he suspected him of stealing 50 pounds of marijuana, worth up to $200,000, that went missing from his house.<\/em>&#8221; He didn&#8217;t have the 200k to pay for it and knew it would be him hanging from that forklift if he didn&#8217;t get it back.<\/p>\n<p>He had to torture the thief, he testified, because &#8220;<em>he believed the cartel was going to harm him and his family after the pot was stolen \u2014 so he &#8216;<strong>had to do<\/strong>&#8216; it.<\/em>&#8221; The judge was not sympathetic.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-558\" src=\"https:\/\/breakingheadlinestories.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/torture02.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/breakingheadlinestories.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/torture02.jpg 800w, https:\/\/breakingheadlinestories.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/torture02-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/breakingheadlinestories.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/torture02-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/breakingheadlinestories.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/torture02-380x214.jpg 380w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Tortured more than 12 hours<\/h2>\n<p>After suspending the suspected thief from a forklift, The welder &#8220;<em>tortured the man for more than 12 hours.<\/em>&#8221; As they passed the time in casual conversation about the missing herb, &#8220;<em>Danielson burned the word &#8216;<strong>thief<\/strong>&#8216; onto the unidentified man&#8217;s body, beat and drugged him, hanged him from the forklift, and shoved a gun in his mouth.<\/em>&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>When he was done, the victim was left &#8220;<em>in the countryside tied to a tree.<\/em>&#8221; Nobody mentions if the location of the missing marijuana was eventually revealed.<\/p>\n<p>Just for fun, &#8220;<em>Danielson also raped a woman who had come to the warehouse with him.<\/em>&#8221; The judge mentioned there was no fear of the cartel to justify that one. When he was done Danielson &#8220;<em>then threatened to kill her if she reported the crime to the police.<\/em>&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Deputy Lancaster County Attorney Jeff Mathers scoffed at Tanner Danielson&#39;s suggestion he &quot;had to do it.&quot;<br \/>&quot;Had to beat, torture, restrain and leave \u2014 possibly for dead \u2014 an individual? Come on,&quot; Mathers said. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/TgFLsnpGhc\">https:\/\/t.co\/TgFLsnpGhc<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Lori Pilger (@LJSpilger) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/LJSpilger\/status\/1699537995278274623?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 6, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Both the thief and the rape victim &#8220;<em>were expecting to meet up with Danielson&#8217;s co-conspirator Austin Widhalm, 28, to buy cocaine.<\/em>&#8221; Austin will be in jail with him because he already &#8220;<em>pleaded no contest to assault and false imprisonment.<\/em>&#8221; For making the call to set them up.<\/p>\n<p>Judge Susan Strong wasn&#8217;t thrilled with Danielson&#8217;s behavior when she handed down his sentence. &#8220;<em>Only a sadistic and evil person could do these things to another human being,<\/em>&#8221; even if they are a reefer thief. This case, she noted, was &#8220;<em>one of the most heinous factual scenarios<\/em>&#8221; she has seen. The sadistic torturer begged her for mercy, &#8220;<em>I was scared beyond belief. I had no clue what to do,<\/em>&#8221; he whined. &#8220;<em>I beg of you to see me for who I am, not for the things I truly felt I had to do to save myself.<\/em>&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Yeah sure, the prosecutor argued. He &#8220;<em>had to beat, torture, restrain and leave \u2014 possibly for dead \u2014 an individual? He had to rape a woman? Ridiculous. Come on,<\/em>&#8221; Deputy Lancaster County Attorney Jeff Mathers declared. Even the Hunter Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/breakingheadlinestories.com\/index.php\/2023\/08\/30\/new-details-come-to-light-about-special-counsel-david-weiss\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">defense<\/a> didn&#8217;t work. But, but, but&#8230; Danielson stammered, &#8220;<em>I was high on cocaine at the time of the attack.<\/em>&#8221; So what, the judge responded, with a bang of her gavel.
