GOP members of Congress believe they have found yet another crime committed by Hunter Biden.<\/p>\n

House members from the Republican Party are referring a charge of perjury to the Attorney General\u2019s office for indictment.<\/p>\n

The GOP believes that Hunter Biden lied several times while under oath, testifying before Congress.<\/p>\n

Liar, Liar!<\/strong><\/h2>\n

House Ways and Means Committee Chair Jason Smith (R-MO) announced the new charge last week.<\/p>\n

He stated,<\/a> \u201cHunter Biden has shown once again he believes there are two systems of justice in this country \u2014 one for his family, and one for everyone else.<\/p>\n

\u201cNot only did Hunter Biden refuse to comply with his initial subpoena until threatened with criminal contempt, but he then came before Congress and lied.\u201d<\/p>\n

Smith then added, \u201cLying during sworn testimony is a felony offense that the Department of Justice has prosecuted numerous individuals for in recent years, and the American people expect the same accountability for the son of the President of the United States.<\/p>\n

\u201cHunter Biden\u2019s lies under oath, and obstruction of a congressional investigation into his family\u2019s potential corruption, calls into question other pieces of his testimony.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe newly released evidence affirms, once again, the only witnesses who can be trusted to tell the truth in this investigation are the IRS whistleblowers.\u201d<\/p>\n

It will be curious to see if Garland allows new charges to be filed considering how he went after Trump allies for the same offense.<\/p>\n

If Hunter is indicted on these charges, he very well may go to jail for it, as there are at least two Trump associates who were sentenced to several months in jail for similar charges.<\/p>\n

If Garland does not take the referral, expect Republicans to shelve it until they take over the White House and we have a Republican Attorney General, who would surely go after Hunter with everything they have.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"GOP members of Congress believe they have found yet another crime committed by Hunter Biden.
