European Commission Report Contradicts Joe Biden’s Ukraine Claims

report

A report from the European Commission freshly surfaced which flatly contradicts an important claim made by Joe Biden. A December 2015 progress bulletin indicates that Joe’s refusal to send a billion bucks over unless they fired Shokin was a direct “quid pro quo” for the $10 million he took from Burisma’s owner Mykola Zlochevsky. Joe has been claiming for months that Ukraine was going to fire prosecutor Viktor Shokin anyway. He lied. Instead, everyone in Europe thought Shokin was finally getting things whipped into shape and doing something about rampant Ukrainian corruption. Barack Obama’s State Department even agreed with that assessment.

European Commission report

The December 2015 progress report from the European Commission doesn’t say “Joe Biden lied” in big bold letters anywhere in the text but that’s what the document means when you compare it to the things Joe has said.

Then compare both to things he’s allegedly done. His impeachment becomes more imminent every day.

As 2015 was coming to a close, then Vice President Joe Biden was in charge of Ukrainian affairs. That’s the only reason, Congress has taken testimony to confirm, Hunter Biden and Devon Archer were hired by Ukrainian gas company Burisma. They were paid “$1 million a year to sit on its board.” The owner of Burisma had a problem, Viktor Shokin.

The prosecutor “ended up seizing assets of [Zlochevsky] — a house, some cars, a couple properties. And [Zlochevsky] actually never went back to Ukraine after Shokin seized all of his assets,” Devon Archer testified. The report backs Shokin’s version of events, and contradicts Joe Biden’s.

When Hunter and Devon met with Zlochevsky for “board meetings” they did it in the opulent luxury of Dubai. From five-star waterfront restaurants they got The Big Guy on the speakerphone. The way Zlochevsky explained the deal, to an FBI rat, Joe was behind the whole operation. He knew Zlochevsky had a problem and he knew he could solve it so he made Zlochevsky an offer he couldn’t refuse.

As Senator Charles Grassley revealed on the Senate floor, it was really a shakedown. While the report from the European Commission was still being drafted, Joe demanded $10 million cash on top of what Hunter and Archer were making already. For that, he would make Zlochevsky’s problem go away. The money changed hands and Shokin was fired.

European Union was satisfied

The European Commission progress report dated December 18, 2015, confirms that “the European Union was satisfied that Ukraine had achieved ‘noteworthy‘ progress, including in ‘preventing and fighting corruption,‘ and thus was eligible for visa-free travel in Europe.

They specifically noted that “Shokin had just appointed the head of a specialized anti-corruption prosecution office.” In their opinion, that was “an indispensable component of an effective and independent institutional framework for combating high-level corruption.” He was targeting Burisma. Zlochevsky also used to be a lawmaker similar to one of our congressmen.

The EU was expecting great things from the newly established National Anti-Corruption Bureau. In their report the E.U. “urged Ukrainian leadership to ensure that both bodies were ‘fully operational’ by the first quarter of 2016.

Instead, by March 29, 2016, Shokin was “forced out by Biden’s threats to then-Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko that he would withhold $1 billion in U.S. aid unless the prosecutor general was fired.

At the same time,” New York Post writes in a report of their own, “the EU commissioner for Migration, Home Affairs, and Citizenship issued a public statement on December 18, 2015, praising Shokin and other officials for making ‘enormous progress‘ on reform.

Our own Secretary of State lurched into the controversy in agreement. Memos “included a personal letter from top U.S. official Victoria Nuland to Shokin telling him that Secretary of State John Kerry was ‘impressed‘ with Shokin’s progress.” Impressed enough that Joe had him fired for doing his job. Joe never imagined that report would ever surface years later and lead to his impeachment.
