Growing up, I was around horses a lot more than I must have realized at the time.
I didn’t grow up in a rural area, but I did grow up in a small town and every once in a while you would see the couple of families that owned horses would take their animals out for a ride.
I would work yard work for one of these families when I was in high school and I eventually got to ride one of their horses a time or two.
Trust me people, you might think that you are the one in charge when you are riding a horse but at the end of the day it’s that animal that has all of the power in that situation.
You gotta be careful around horses because they have way more power than even the strongest of human beings. There are certain things that you just don’t do around them.
For one, don’t ever walk directly behind a horse. That’s you just asking to be kicked.
Speaking of being kicked by a horse, we have a story coming out of Canada that proves that there are some people that are just begging for the world to give them exactly what they deserve.
This unnamed woman near Queen’s University found out the hard way why it is a really bad idea to screw with horses, particularly a police horse.
This had to have been some kind of college prank that she was doing to get into a sorority or something, because I cannot think of something as stupid as smacking a police horse on the ass.
So, she runs up to this police horse and gives it a good slap on the behind.
The horse, not knowing her from Mister Ed, instinctively kicks back in the direction of where the sudden pain came from.
The problem for the girl, is that she got kicked good and hard.
Now, the girl seemed to be able to run away without any serious injuries.
She got off lucky. I have seen people get kicked by horses that were just never the same again. It’s probably a good idea to just leave the horses, and their asses alone.
