The hits just keep coming for Joe Biden. The Afghanistan withdrawal was the beginning of the end for Joe Biden. Now, a new report is going to bring that entire debacle back into the spotlight.
Devastating Report
A new report from the United Nations drug agency was released this week. The report showed that Afghanistan is now one of the fastest-growing countries for the production of methamphetamine. This despite the Taliban’s vow that it has declared a war on drugs.
Seizures have skyrocketed in Afghanistan, increasing from 220 pounds to more than 6,000 pounds in just a year. And if you are seizing that much, you know a lot more is getting out. Remember, numerous terror organizations are now camped out in Afghanistan.
These organizations use drugs as a way to fund their operations, so this is not exactly a surprise.
Angela Me, the chief of the UNODC’s Research and Trend Analysis Branch, commented on why meth is becoming so popular in Afghanistan.
Me stated, “You don’t need to wait for something to grow.
“You don’t need land. You just need the cooks and the know-how.
“Meth labs are mobile, they’re hidden.
“Afghanistan also has the ephedra plant, which is not found in the biggest meth-producing countries: Myanmar and Mexico.
“It’s legal in Afghanistan and it grows everywhere. But you need a lot of it.”
Nice job, Joe… you are now responsible for the growing global meth problem.
