Breaking: Trump Makes Big Presidential Race Announcement!

Former President Trump just put out some big news.

It looks like Donald Trump won’t be attending the Republican National Committee (RNC) debates, which could result in his solidification as the 2024 GOP presidential nominee.

On Sunday, President Donald Trump made a major announcement that shook up this year’s presidential race and likely resulted in him not attending any of the three scheduled forums.

On Truth Social he posted:

“New CBS POLL, just out, has me leading the field by ‘legendary’ numbers. TRUMP 62%, 46 Points above DeSanctimonious (who is crashing like an ailing bird!), Ramaswamy 7%, Pence 5%, Scott 3%, Haley 2%, Sloppy Chris Christie 2%, “Aida” Hutchinson 1%,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “The public knows who I am & what a successful Presidency I had, with Energy Independence, Strong Borders & Military, Biggest EVER Tax & Regulation Cuts, No Inflation, Strongest Economy in History, & much more. I WILL THEREFORE NOT BE DOING THE DEBATES!”

President Trump had been fickle over recent months regarding his participation in the RNC’s first debate.

This news came after both RNC leadership and Fox News executives had tried to lobby him to attend the debates, knowing it would bring huge ratings to their network.

It appears they were unsuccessful in convincing President Trump due to his current poll-dominating status.

Instead, he will be sitting down for an interview with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Wednesday—the day of the first debate.

It remains unclear what the leading Republican candidate will do for the other two debates scheduled for later this month.

Not participating in these pivotal debates may have significant repercussions on Donald Trump’s campaign and potential nomination as Republican candidate for president.

First off, there are primary opponents who are vying for nomination alongside Mr. Trump who will miss out on their chance to showcase their qualifications side-by-side with one another against an incumbent president who has proven himself successful during his administration.

Furthermore, without debating against those vying for candidacy alongside him, President Trump may appear less intimidating or even vulnerable if these challengers succeed at making valid arguments that challenge his record or claims while he is absent from such forums.

It is impossible to predict at this point whether refusing participation at these important forums will be beneficial or detrimental towards President Donald Trump’s chances at reclamation of presidency.

However, there are some key elements associated with being able to go head-to-head against your opponents during formal televised events such as these presidential debates that cannot be overlooked nor substituted no matter how influential an individual may already be perceived within the political realm.

So what do you think? Will Trump’s decision to not attend the debates be harmful or beneficial? Will other candidates stand a chance against him now? And what do you think will be discussed during Tucker Carlson’s interview with Trump?

Only time will tell. However, Donald Trump’s decision not to attend any of these scheduled GOP debates is sure to cause waves throughout American politics as we near closer towards Election Day.

Tune in to find out!
