Earlier this month, the FBI conducted an early morning raid on the home of Theodore “Teddy” Deschler. Deschler, a disabled veteran, was shot and killed during the raid. Now the family wants answers, calling the shooting “senseless.”
Why?
The FBI raided Deschler’s home because of threats made online. They believed he was going to try to kill several Democrats, including Joe Biden.
On August 16, the FBI swarmed….About 15 minutes later, the 45-year-old veteran was shot dead. The FBI claims that Deschler had a weapon when they entered, so they put him down like a rabid dog.
His brother, Russell, stated, “It was a senseless act. “Teddy was a 100% disabled veteran. He had problems. He had severe PTSD. “He had depression but he was getting help for it, but this was senseless.”
Deschler’s mother was in the home when it was raided, claiming that she answered the door, and was pulled from the home. When she asked what the FBI was doing there, they responded, “It’s none of your business.”
The FBI used flashbang grenades and tear gas, as well as opening fire on the home. Many of the windows in the home were shattered and the front yard was left with tracks from the SWAT trucks that were deployed.
Russel stated that after looking at the scene, he believes that his brother was unarmed and the FBI did not have the view they claimed to see him with a weapon. He stated, “He didn’t have a weapon on him. He was just trying to get out of the house because it was filled with tear gas. “You couldn’t see. The height of the door and where Teddy was standing when they shot him and killed him, you couldn’t see if he was armed or not and you know he wasn’t. “Because if you look at the door you could see where his hands were full of blood and went down the door. Well if he had a weapon in his hand…”
A neighbor stated, “I heard a loud bang. Then I heard a couple more. I heard the loudspeakers, ‘Come out with your hands up. We’re the FBI. We’re not going anywhere.’ “Before I knew it, I was coming out to see what was going on and watched them bust out their windows. I reckon they got him in there.”
The FBI has not responded to family inquiries other than to say the investigation is ongoing. The agency further stated, “The FBI is reviewing an agent-involved shooting which occurred today at approximately 6:40 a.m. while FBI SWAT was conducting an arrest operation in Henderson, TN.
“The subject is deceased. The FBI takes all shooting incidents involving our agents or task force members seriously. In accordance with FBI policy, the shooting incident is under review by the FBI’s Inspection Division. “As this is an ongoing matter, we have no further details to provide.”
In other words, shut up and we will tell you more details when we feel like it.
