An incident in Miami reveals that federal employees entrusted to keep us safe are robbing us blind instead. That’s not fair. Three TSA screeners were grazing through the belongings of every traveler they encountered and skimming off anything which caught their fancy. One walked away with a warning, another got a Hunter Biden style “deferred prosecution” deal. At least, the third suspect will go to trial. It’s scheduled for October.
Miami TSA busted cold
Surveillance video was recently released from Miami International Airport which documents “the moment two TSA officers allegedly stole at least $600 in cash and other items from unsuspecting passengers’ luggage at a Florida airport,” in June.
The footage clearly shows “Josue Gonzalez, 20, and Labarrius Williams, 33” rummaging “through the bags of travelers waiting to go through the scanner at Checkpoint E.”
They weren’t arrested for it until July, after “enforcement officials began investigating claims of theft occurring at the checkpoint.”

The suspects worked the TSA baggage drop-off section station in Miami and conspired together to “take money from wallets and purses that passed them on the way to the x-ray machine.”
As the video shows, “the brazen pair stood next to each other appearing to talk while Williams sneakily dug through a black bag, removing an item and leaving it in the bin until Gonzalez moved the bin on the conveyor belt and pocketed the item.”
Later, Gonzalez was observed pawing through “a Louis Vuitton bag,” snagging an item and leaving it aside in the bin, “until he was able to remove it further up in line.” One passenger through Miami reported losing $600 bucks to the security team.
One out of three is bad
Two out of three aint bad, the saying goes, but one out of three is, especially when it comes to criminal prosecutions of thieves caught red handed in the act. Ones who also confessed to the crime.
Despite the clear abuse of positions of public trust, two of the three Miami baggage pirates walk away with barely a slap on the wrist and a warning to “be better at it next time” and not get caught again.
While “passengers were distracted with their own screenings and not paying attention to their items” Gonzalez, Williams and 22-year-old female coworker Elizabeth Fuster rummaged through the goods looking for choice items to steal. Both Fuster and Gonzalez confessed to “numerous thefts” from travelers, “admitting to stealing an average of $1,000 daily while working together.”

All the charges were dropped against Fuster. Gonzalez “pleaded not guilty to the third-degree felony grand theft charges.” Miami is letting him go and forgetting all about it as long as he stays away from Hunter Biden. “Gonzalez entered a deferred prosecution program where, upon completion, he could have his charges dropped.” The deal does require him to “pay $700 to the victims identified and complete 25 hours of community service while also giving up his airport credentials.” How terrible.
Williams was hit with the same charges but “was not accepted into the program.” They had to have someone to scapegoat. The TSA in Miami is about as popular as the FBI these days.
The bureau just felt the compulsion to open an entire unit dedicated to investigating all the death threats coming in against FBI agents and other federal employees. They’re afraid that all those deplorable Ultra-MAGA Trump supporters are about to come after them in “large gatherings.” It’s now illegal to call them “mobs,” Because that’s racist.
